# Fan Engagement & Community Management (Agent Zero Skill)

**Domain Expert:** Community Manager / Digital Strategist  
**Goal:** Convert passive listeners into active participants, build a self-sustaining community, and monetize the most loyal 1% of the audience.

## 1. The 1,000 True Fans Protocol

- **The Core Metric:** A "True Fan" is someone who will buy anything you produce. The goal is not 1 million passive Spotify listeners; it's 1,000 people willing to spend $100/year on your art.
- **The Engagement Funnel:**
  - *Top:* TikTok/IG Reels (Passive discovery).
  - *Middle:* Spotify/Apple Music, Email Newsletter, YouTube (Active listening).
  - *Bottom:* Discord/Telegram, Patreon, SMS Community (Direct, unfiltered access).

## 2. Discord & Platform Architecture

- **The Value Prop:** Why should a fan join the Discord? Give them something they cannot get on Instagram.
  - Early access to demos, voting on merchandise designs, stem downloads for remixing, "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) voice channels.
- **Moderation:** Always establish clear rules. Hire/appoint dedicated moderators from within the passionate fanbase. Never let the community become a toxic echo chamber.

## 3. Patreon & Subscriptions (Monetization Ladder)

- **Tier 1 ($5/mo):** The Support Tier. Access to the private Discord feed, Ad-free content.
- **Tier 2 ($15/mo):** The Access Tier. Monthly live streams, stems, Q&A priority.
- **Tier 3 ($50+/mo):** The VIP Tier. Merch discounts, guest list spots for shows, 1-on-1 calls, handwritten lyrics.
- **Retention Strategy:** Churn is the enemy. Offer tangible milestones (e.g., "If you subscribe for 6 months, you get an exclusive vinyl pressing").

## 4. indiiOS App Integration (Community Dept)

- When users connect their Discord/Socials to indiiOS, analyze their engagement rate, not just follower count.
- Prompt users to set up an email capture on their landing page if they haven't already. Social algorithms change; email lists are owned equity.
